About this tour
At a pleasant pace you travel Bali and Lombok by car with driver. You stay in the green heart of Bali and have time to snorkel at the north coast of the island. From Bali, you take the fastboat to the Gili Islands. Enjoy a few days of relaxation on an island without motorised traffic. On Lombok, you stay on the south flanks of the Rinjani volcano, a beautiful green area. You will end your trip on Gili Asahan, a small paradise on the southwest side of Lombok.

Where
Bali and Lombok are the 2 most visited islands by tourists. Bali is of course number one and is world famous for its sawas and the large number of Hindu temples. Religious ceremonies are colourful and you will always find one during your trip. Between Bali and Lombok, there are three well-known Gili Islands; Trawangan, Meno and Air. The islands are often combined in a trip with Bali and Lombok. A perfect and very relaxing stopover. Lombok is often called the little sister of Bali. A large part of the island is occupied by the Rinjani volcano. On the flanks of the volcano, you will find beautiful green sawas. On the west and south side of Lombok, you have other, lesser known Gili Islands. Some are real gems. Gili Asahan is one of them.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Denpasar, transfer to Ubud | After arrival at the airport of Denpasar you will be driven to Ubud by our driver
Day 2
Ubud | discover Ubud on your own. Visit the monkey forest, the market, the royal palace or one of the excellent art museums
Day 3
Ubud | join in cycling in the beautiful surroundings of Ubud. This bicycle tour takes more than half a day
Day 4
Ubud to Pemuteran | Via the famous rice terraces of Jatiluwih, the waterfall of Munduk, the crater lakes Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan, you go today to Pemuteran, on the north coast of Bali.
Day 5
Pemuteran | Day at leisure. Possibility to snorkel at the Menjangan Island
Day 6
Pemuteran | Day at leisure. Possibility to make a trekking in the national park West Bali
Day 7
Pemuteran to Sidemen | Via the impressive Sekumpul waterfall you will be driven to Sidemen, in the east of Bali
Day 8
Sidemen | By car with driver you will make a beautiful ride through the east of Bali. You visit the water gardens of Tirtagangga and the former royal city Klungkung
Day 9
Sidemen to Gili Air | In the morning you will be driven from Sidemen to Padangbai. Here you will transfer to the fastboat to Gili Air

Gili Air | Day at leisure

Gili Air | Day at leisure
Day 12
Gili Air to Senggigi | In the morning the boat leaves for the mainland of Lombok. It is then a short ride by car to Senggigi
Day 13
Senggigi - bicycle tour - transfer to Tetebatu | Today you start with a beautiful bicycle tour through the countryside of West Lombok. Then you will be driven to the middle of the island, to the flanks of the volcano Rinjani
Day 14
Tetebatu | Make a lovely guided walk through the sawas to Pringgasela
Day 15
Tetebatu to Gili Asahan | Today you travel over the flat countryside of South Lombok to the southwest corner, where a few beautiful, but less known Gili Islands are located. You spend the next nights on the traffic-free Gili Asahan

Gili Asahan | Day at leisure
Day 17
Gili Asahan | Day at leisure
Day 18
Gili Asahan to the airport | From the island you will be brought to the airport of Lombok

The price of this trip is based on 2 travelers, low season, subject to availability of the planned hotels and including CO2 compensation. We have assumed standard hotels. But it is also possible to choose more luxurious hotels. The trip can always be adjusted in many ways.
This trip is connected to a roundtrip on Java. Flying is not necessary. From Bali and Lombok other islands like Flores, Sumba, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and the Moluccas can be reached easily by plane.
